I met Jason Collins when he came to review his new listing, the condo I was renting. Knowing that rental properties were scarce, I decided that I would buy the property. Jason negotiated a fair deal, making the purchase process painless.
When I decided to sell an inherited out-of-state commercial property, the Philly Realtor suggested a 1031 exchange, requiring that I buy a replacement property with the proceeds from the sale that are held by an intermediary. Having worked with Jason before, once I had a purchase agreement for the Philly property, I reached out to him to help me find a house to buy as a rental.
A property sale in another state during a pandemic was challenging with several setbacks that required a change of Philly Realtors. Jason, was steadfast and supportive. Through a referral program, Jason helped me find another Pennsylvania Realtor. Meanwhile, in a nearly impossible housing market with low inventory and sky-high prices, Jason found a great "replacement" house.
Unlike my first seamless transaction with Jason, the 1031 was a bumpy ride! I relied on his expertise and good nature to secure information and closing details from the other agent. Miraculously, the Philly property closed at 11 and the Yulee property at 3.
Jason always answered my calls, texts or emails. I am grateful for his professionalism, knowledge, integrity and friendship that formed as a result of Jason's consistently supportive role during an emotionally fraught 1031 exchange.
